Readers ask: When will Cousins Subs open in Grand Chute? The Buzz has the answer
GRAND CHUTE — A third Cousins Subs location is coming to Grand Chute and will feature the first drive-thru option among locations in the Appleton area.
The new sandwich shop, at 3630 W. College Ave., was built on the site of the former Grand Chute Mattress Firm, and is located next to the new Scooter’s Coffee location. It’s opening date is set for Sept. 16.
The building is approximately 2,075-square-foot and can seat 28 people. A news release sent to The Post-Crescent on Tuesday from Park Place Holdings, a De Pere-based commercial real estate investment firm, revealed that the new location is part of Cousins Subs’ continued expansion in Wisconsin.
“This new location on the west side of town, in a prime retail corridor, perfectly aligns with our growth strategy,” Joe Ferguson, executive vice president of Cousins Subs, said in the news release. “As our first freestanding store in Appleton with a drive-thru, it enhances our visibility and allows us to better serve our customers.”
Ferguson highlighted their excitement about the potential for their partnership with Park Place Holdings, mentioning how they’ve been helping explore additional sites for expansion in the Fox Valley and Green Bay.
